WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 13th Deuteronomy 31:6

“Be strong. Take courage. Don’t be intimidated. Don’t give them a second thought because God, your God, is striding ahead of you. He’s right there with you. He won’t let you down; he won’t leave you.”

When we have those feelings of rejection, we feel weak, vulnerable, we are very easily intimidated and we give “Rejection” second, third and fourth thoughts. Rejection is used by the enemy to bring harm and destruction to us and to take glory away from the Father. We can allow rejection to ruin us, ruin our name, ruin our walk with the Lord but the choice is ours.  God, in His wisdom, love and grace gives us the choice.  We have to CHOOSE to “Let go and let God”. His desire and plan for us is to give us a hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11), it’s up to us individually to make the choice. Dabo Swinney, Clemson’s Head Football Coach, knows rejection. His life story reads like a soap opera, yet when asked about attitude his reply is always “The only disability in life is a bad attitude.” Don’t live your life disabled by rejection and a bad attitude!

Father, thank You for the promise that You will never leave me or forsake me. You hold me when I hurt and feel rejected. Help me to choose You and Your plans for my life. Help me to shine Your light in my little corner of this world. Amen.
