FRIDAY, APRIL 26TH Mark 2:4 (Living Bible)

They couldn’t get to Jesus through the crowd so they dug through the clay roof above his head and lowered the sick man on his stretcher right down in front of Jesus.
You know that to dig through something, it requires doing it piece by piece. Reminds me of how we have to go through and sort all the “stuff” in our life.
When doing so, we experience all sorts of emotions, all of which are necessary to clear the way for greater things.
Once the way was clear, I’m sure they all experienced a sigh of relief, not to mention a feeling of elation, knowing that their mission was about to be complete
Do we have this tenacity, (I just love that word 😉 ), to seek and find Jesus the way these friends did? Especially when it’s for someone else!!
