For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.
Matthew 25:35-36
Antioch Conway has a variety of ways we care for our community. We know that it is of the utmost importance to care for all people, no matter what they are going through. Our Care ministries are just a few examples of how we show Jesus by meeting physical and emotional needs.
FOOD PANTRY AND WAREHOUSE OF HOPE
FOOD PANTRY
Antioch Conway has a food pantry that is open every Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. We offer food for those in need.
WAREHOUSE OF HOPE
Every Thursday 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 6:30-7:30 p.m., our Clothes Closet is open to anyone needing to find good quality clothes. The clothes are free, but due to the high demand, there is a limit to the amount available each week.
The Food Pantry and Warehouse of Hope Clothing Closet is located at 110 Amity Road. Enter in the doors facing Middle Road, and go to the left once you enter the building. You will see signs for both ministries!
DIVORCECARE AND GRIEFSHARE
DIVORCECARE
DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Don’t go through separation or divorce alone. Classes meet during the fall and spring semesters, and meet at 6:30 pm on Wednesday nights at 150 Amity Road.
GRIEFSHARE
GriefShare support groups are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You’ll gain access to valuable GriefShare resources to help you recover from your loss and look forward to rebuilding your life. Classes meet during the fall and spring semesters, and meet at 6:30 pm on Monday nights at 150 Amity Road.
